The Aftermath
This is our dryer vent - the dryer and tubing were pulled off in an epic attempt to extract the creature of doom that had decided to take residence inside it. It turned out to be a bird, and a big one at that.
It actually took off and flew into our guest bedroom and fluttered around, we caught it and released it.
What my brain inexplicably thought it was when I first heard the noises:

Baby sleep cycles
are funny things…
Ev usually sleeps very deeply when we first put him down for bedtime, and he also sleeps deeply after his early morning feeding (usually about 2-3am), but after he eats at 5-6am he goes back to sleep but constantly punctuates that sleep with grunts, sighs, coos, and occasional fusses (after which he conks right back out). It’s very entertaining to listen to, but...
Such a sad face :(
After some infant tylenol he was feeling better and started smiling again (pardon his milk tongue)

2 Month Update!
Evan had his 2 month appointment this morning….I was quite nervous for it because as you know (if you’ve been following since he was born) he had some troubles at first with weight gain/nursing/jaundice and at 1 month he still hadn’t returned to his birth weight (7lbs, 12oz)
I knew he had gained weight, it was obvious as he was swiftly outgrowing his ‘newborn’...

Subway Fail
While running errands this afternoon I stopped at our local subway, and I used the drive-through for the first (and last) time.
After looking at the menu I ordered a B.L.T and told the lady that I also wanted cheese on it.
I get home…and I have a bacon sandwich…literally its bread, bacon, cheese, and mayo.

I just submitted my official resignation letter to HR, and it feels really weird. I am happy, and nervous - financially we can do this, it will be tighter than it was, but worth it.

This is our favorite outfit of E’s, and he’s swiftly outgrowing it. I’ll be sad when it doesn’t fit anymore because he looks so adorable in it…its his ready-for-the-golf-course-outfit :)
p.s. I swear other things go on in my life besides stuff about my kid, but the baby spam is more interesting and really is just too cute not to share.
